Vista Application Development

We have expertise in developing new software products for ISV's as well as converting or porting existing Windows applications to Vista.  We have successfully developed touch screen applications in Vista. These applications are targetted for home users.

Technology

The technologies we are been working on are WPF layer of .NET Framework 3.5 (formerly called WinFX) and C# on Vista OS. We have sound expertise in  XAML (pronounced as zamel) and Expression Interactive Design to develop complete interface of the application. Our in-house UI design team can provide very creative and usable software interface design. Rapid prototyping helps fast turnaround of the design elements. XAML offers some cool features like 3D support, animations, transforms and data binding.   

Challenges

We have been developing Vista applications since Vista itself was in Beta phase. So we have gone through intial challenges like keeping up with Vista and WinFX CTPs as they were released.

We have also converted applications from a Windows application to one that could run across browsers - a XBAP (XAML browser application) application and are experieced with development for Media Center.

We are also experienced in doing Localization for applications in as many as 13 languages (handled by using locbaml tool).

We have also created installers for Vista.
