ProductCampRTP turns 18 this year - it started back when the ProductCamp movement was brand new, spreading from Silicon Valley to cities that wanted the same thing: product people teaching product people, no tickets, no gatekeepers. Today it's the longest continuously running ProductCamp in the world, and it still runs entirely on volunteers. Some of the people in the room first attended as junior PMs a decade ago. They come back as directors and CPOs.
A free afternoon in Raleigh
This fall's edition is on Nov 6, when about 100 people will show up at Kelaca in Raleigh - founders and entrepreneurs, SMB teams, enterprise folks, market researchers, UX and product designers, developers, product managers, product marketers, and business development leaders. All industries. It's free.
What's Worth Building?
The theme this year is a question: What's Worth Building? When AI made building cheap, the hard part moved - from "can we build it?" to "should we build it, and what does it take?" Every session on Nov 6 answers some version of that. For a product, a skill, a career.
Hands-on sessions, a level deeper
The sessions are hands-on and a level deeper than your typical meetup talk:
- Keynote: "Unicorns Are No Longer Rare" - Robbie Allen, Automated Consulting Group
- Two workshops - Jason Tanner (Applied Frameworks) runs "Postcards from December 2027: PM Edition," and Steve Johnson (Product Growth Leaders) runs "Aspiring to Fractional CPO." Attendees work their own product problems and leave with something they can use Monday morning.
Parallel sessions by industry experts
- Dean Peters (Productside) on taming AI agents before they vibe-fire you
- Gregory Ng (Never Stop Creating) on why product is everything when code is cheap
- Ryan Eade (Limeade Labs) on getting your product into the Claude and ChatGPT app marketplaces
- Allison Herbert (CivicPlus) on offloading the plan but keeping the friction
- Rajiv Kaul (Intelligaia) on why nobody trusts your AI - the ten checks that decide it.

The conversation continues

It ends the way a good product day should - with a mixer. Allstacks Product Studio is sponsoring food and drinks for the closing networking hour, so attendees get unstructured time with the speakers instead of watching them leave the room. At a typical conference, the speakers fly out. Here they stay and talk.
